An exclusive Secret Lair card handed out randomly to attendees at MagicCon: Philadelphia is Shivam Dragon, where only 295 copies of the card exist. While Shivan Dragon is far from an exciting card in terms of power level, its scarcity will make it a desirable acquisition for card collectors. Since there isn’t much in the way with price history of this copy of Shivan Dragon, one copy did sell on TCGplayer for roughly $2,400 in April. In addition, MagicCon: Minneapolis saw something similar with a unique Secret Lair printing of Giant Growth handed out to attendees, which will also likely command an amazingly high price once there’s market activity on the serialized card. It’s clear this is something Wizards of the Coast will do going forward, so you can expect something similar at MagicCon: Barcelona and Magic World Championship XXIX in Las Vegas later this year.
